I have looked at every store in the valley for brackets to hang up lights on my house!! i have a flat roof with parapitt walls no gutter no wooden eves just stuccco. I have asked around and in Arizona its very common to have a house with a flat roof yet no one knows how to hang lights on them. please send your imput asap!!!!

The sort of big displays you describe are a fairly recent arrival in the UK - you never used to see them when I was young. I don't remember anyone having the outside of their house decorated up until about ten or fifteen years ago. But nowadays quite a few houses have them. We have a wooden nativity set in the front garden at Christmas with 3-foot high figures - I bought the plans on ebay and my husband made them. I think they look nicer than all those rather garish lights.

If you have a flat roof i don't think you can hang lights but you can hang them on the side of your house and that might work better.

try nailing them to the side roof or triple duck tape lol
