So the problem with this is?
The weirdness will go away when you start viewing him as your boyfriend, as well as your best friend.
If you think about it...every relationship has a bit of a weird beginning, best friend or not. This is just a little different than the norm.
The nice thing is, he knew you as a friend, he liked you as a friend, and he desired you for more than friendship.

I can relate to you on that one. I to had a male best friend. We were friends for over 20 years. We never went out together.all we did were talk. We talked all the time. About every thing. But sometimes we did go out to eat. To amusement parks. we did it all as friends. No sex. I knew that he liked me But I never paid attention to that . because were not feeling that. I just acked as if i did not know. Now later on down the line. We did become itimate, A major mistake, Everything changed after that, To methat were forbidden. I wish to this very day that we did not go there. Think before you react. You don't want no regrets later .

If he's your best friend, then why bother going out with him? You already have a great relationship, so what's the difference? I mean, if your talking about him taking you to the movies and stuff like that, don't friends do that anyway, regardless if they're going out with each other?

If you only see him as a friend and not on a romantic level, then why are you two dating in the first place. Think it over before you get your heart broken, break a heart, or......lose your best friend.

Either you want to go out with him, or you don't. Yes or no simple as that, just make your mind up. If you don't then be careful dumping him; you'll want to stay friends.

i know what ya mean cause he was your best mate and he like knows everything about you now.. .. but im sure there must have been summit strong there for ye to hit it off.. just stay with him ..see how ye get on.. and if you still think its wierd just chat to him ,tell him how you feel.
