He probably feels very awkward about the situation, you are not over, you just need to call him.. Guys are weird like that, They are way nervous to call

We have no idea since you didn't give any info on the relationship. Have you guys been together for a while, or was this after a first date? Maybe you have never even been out together. Whatever the situation, why don't you just call him?!?!
