I guess that'd be alright, but I suggest you start with something sweeter. Since you've known her for awhile, I suggest something along the lines of ....."you seem to get better looking everytime I see you." Be sure to show your best smile and keep steady eye contact when you say it and she'll pick up on the fact that you have the hots for her.
