That is entirely up to you. If you go to WSU, you'll have to pay for tuition. But if You go through the Navy you'll be going through 3 months of intense studying and practice to become a liscence Nurse. After your four year commitment of enlistment, all you would have to do is take the bar exam and find a suitable hospital you would like to work in as a civilian nurse, and with Military experience, that won't be very hard to do. Your pay will also be very very good too in the navy. Better than spending four years in college, having a loan and debt.

The nurse field in 3 branches can and is significant. army, Air pressure and military. I take it you're nonetheless in intense college and are searching at what you'll in the years ahead. My spouse bean the college to change right into a nurse some years in the past. did not complete it because of relations subject matters. We married for the time of my time in the Marines she practice and change into universal into the RN software and has been an RN now just about 15 tears loves it. She has labored aboard the Marine base in the Naval well-being facility it really is amazingly annoying truly no better annoying than any civilian well-being facility except those on pastime responsibility have that duty. hi there do not purely imagine it really is this kind of glamors job, that you position on a acceptance of nurse. there'll be comments and ingredient that would want to be finished which will usually turn your abdomen something you may want to be prepared for. you receives used to it. some will are available shot and torn all up and there's no longer something you are able to do as there existence runs out of them yet provide the relax and then tell the relations. Then there'll be cases were a sparkling existence begins and also you get to percentage in the exhilaration from the beginning to informing the relations. you may want to benefit a large style of understanding, large commute and receives a fee for it. no longer all and distinct is able to do this style of job. despite the indisputable fact that it you're up for the project take that leap.

The Navy can be a good place to reach your goals. If you score well on the ASVAB, you can just about pick any rate (job) that you want. There is also the ability to take classes while out to sea and 100% tutition assistance, plus the Montgomery GI bill.

I would suggest talking to a recruiter, go with a parent or older friend who can help you not make a rash decision, and find out what the navy has to offer.

If you do decide to join, well maybe someday I will see you in the fleet.

If the only reason you're thinking about the Navy is to become a nurse, don't do it. Go to college.

I would suggest college. If you have interest in the Navy as a career and a place to practice nursing, I suggest going to college and joining the NROTC. That way, you can go to college and join the Navy.

You can do both. Join the ROTC at Wayne State while going to college. They will pay for your college. Then upon graduation, you will go into the military and work as a nurse.

It is a wonderful way to go. You get leadership training and it will give you a lot of career options when done.

Good Luck

What's better , caring for our troops, or getting a bedpan for some bimbo who had her boobs done.
Guss you know where I stand.
You will still be a nurse when / if you leave the Navy.
