Hmm... 20 lbs is too thin for the middle weight. Well i suggest you go to the nearest gym you have in you place then aim for bantamweight (113-119 lbs) coz during the training you will lose about 3-5 lbs before you fight (as an amateur of course). Good luck guy. I'll watch you in the future huh.

Open up the "yellow pages" or view them online, look around your area for a "Police Athletic League" or "YMCA". If you can't find either look for a local gym that caters to boxing. As a former fighter I'd be the first one to say when I walked into the "PAL" for the first time everyone their was courteous and pointed me in the right direction. By the end of the first week there I felt like I had known most of these guys my whole life. Trainers are there in abundance, don't be afraid to ask around for advice in any area be it style, foot work, or even diet and exercise, Good Luck.

Discuss it with your doctor first. If there is no physiological reason for the balance problem. Join the Golden Gloves or NCAA. The CYO has a good program as well. So do some Boys Clubs.

Most big cities have clubs. You really need to have a trainer since you don't want to form any bad habits by training yourself wrong and you want it to be a safe program.

Good luck and have fun.
