It's probably more annoying than life-threatening. Sometimes a compressed vertrebral disk or spinal nerve can do this. You have not described cardiac involvement. Please don't ask for an online diagnosis and ignore any that you are given. I suggest you see your health care provider for evaluation.

Any pain like that should need a doctor or a hospital for immediate advice. A layman cannot give you advice.
How can I I tell if I have a heart attack.......My doctor says I will know if I have a heart attack.
The chest pain can be caused by trapped nerve, strain, infection, heart problems or cracked ribs.Take a few painkillers but if the problem persists, take expert advice.

if it is on your right side probably not - provided you are not having difficulty with breathing
it could be a pinched nerve in your back, a muscle or rib strain or most unlikely a lung problem
if it persists see you doctor - in the meantime try some pain killers like ibuprofen

Your heart is on the other side, so it may not be too serious. If you are feeling nausous, see a doctor. If not, you have indegestion. Drink a warm, flat soda.
