The fact that he's been sleeping with hookers would definitely make me question wether or not it would he'd be safe to date. That would definitely be a deal breaker for me.

That's up to you. I mostly judge people by how they reflect on their past (i.e. if it was 10 years ago and he's fixed up his life since, I think you can probably find a way around this).
If it was last week and he thinks it was awesome, I would keep moving....
