Barrera will definitely avoid being knocked out. He won't fight like Morales did. Morales was too aggressive. Pacman and Roach called it correctly that Morales would try to finish the match early because he fears he wouldn't have the stamina for an extended battle.
Barrera however is a different case. Remember when Pacman beat him the first time, it wasn't a knock down. The man was standing when his corner threw in the towel. I'm guessing this means he can take Pacman's punches (although it reduced him to a punching bag).
I think Pacman will get UD victory over Barrera this time. The judges will probably not look very favorably to Barrera running away.
Santana-
Why did you say that Pacman is avoiding Marquez. As I recall, Pacman did ask for a rematch and it was Marquez who said no. But in any case, I am willing to concede that Pacman might have lost that fight. But he has learned a lot since. He came into that fight overconfident thinking that he has nothing left that needs improvement. But that fight and the fight against Morales showed him what the skills are that he lacked.

Manny will probably knock out Marco, but you're are a little off in your assessment of Marquez, Manny had this kid down three times in the very first round and couldn't finish the kid off. Juan Manuel made it out of a disastrous first round made the proper adjustments (not trading with Manny) and came back strong to fight to a draw. Many ringside observers including Max Kellerman (HBO Commentator) the Associated Press and 9 of the 10 sportswriters covering the fight had Marquez winning the fight by two points despite being knocked down three times in the first round.
Manny nor Freddy Roach have been heard even mentioning a rematch with Marquez.

If you remember nobody gave Marquez a chance and he almost didn't make it out of the first round. Manny is Manny, he can't change, what you see is what you get. Emanuel Steward said it best "Pacman is not very technical" he's always off balance after he throws his left hand, he puts everything behind it and always brings is rear foot with the punch. Manny will win if you stay in front of him, he can not fight going backwards and his foot work is horrible, he can punch that's it.

goFish - of course, yeah he'll eat him alive.......
goFish - Now Marquez is thrown in the mix. I think this will be a competitive fight. I don't know if Pacman been ducking Marquez but he did give Manny plenty of trouble in their fight. If Marquez can stay off the canvas and Pacquiao doesn't adjust his game plan in a fight against Marquez then Marquez has a good chance to win it.

Yeah you are right he will beat Barrera easily if MAB trys to trade with him but after watching MABs last fight i think MAB is definitely going to try and outbox Manny this time, it has the makings of a good fight.
Santana - Don't you think Manny has improved past JMM now (this is my opinion), i know you think Manny is pretty one dimensional but i think he has developed a bigger range of shots nowadays and he looks to be hitting harder and harder every fight, i think it would be a mistake for Marquez to call out Manny nowadays, i agree JMM is probably the better technical boxer but i just cant see him getting past 3 rounds against Pacquiao.

I see the rematch following the same pace and outcome that their first meeting produced. Pressure, Pressure, Pressure. Manny is an excellent example of "the best defense is a good offense." I've read several quotes from MAB and I have to say "at times" he comes across as wanting to not fight MP but pride won't let him step aside. Just my opinion.
