ask yourself these important questions. if a car hit your loved one tomorrow would you feel comfortable pushing her around in a wheel chair for the rest of her life. keep in mind the struggles that go along with that, the periodic grumpiness, helping her bathe. does that thought make you want to run, or does that thought make you want to step up. is this a person you could be happy anywhere with? including a cardboard box under a bridge? i'm not saying that if you think the realtionship will ever have struggles of course it will, but if some of the worst possible struggles you may face are not struggles your willing to face and work through then you shouldn't consider this "the one." if you think those things that while may be unlikely are struggles you would want to stick around for then go for it. remember it could be you in the wheelchair. my husband had a horrific car accident years before we met, he is now nearly 10 years past the point where he was never supposed to walk again. his back at any time though could go out. i realize that we are on borrowed time. so before entering into the relationship, i asked myself those questions. my answer at first was maybe, we started dating after a few years he asked me to marry him, so i asked myseld those questions again. the answer was while of course i never want that to happen i would do it and not regret it. i can tell you that we have a relationship that everyone else envies. we are happy and strong, and very much in love.

I just got engaged last week, and I know he's the one because I simply can't imagine my life without him. I hate the thought of waking up without him there. He's also my best friend and we are so comfortable with each other, it's like he really is my other half. He also makes me want to be a better person, and I feel like I can accomplish anything as long as he's by my side. Good Luck in your decision!!
