My husband and I met at work. His mom and I worked together and became friends and then he started working there also and I was instantly attracted to him but was in a relationship at the time so we became friends also but at the same time I had a secret crush on him. We worked together for about 3 years and then he told me that he was transferring to another city and I was really sad that he was leaving. The day before his last day I told him how much I was going to miss him and told him that I had a crush on him and always thought that we had chemistry. Well it turns out that he felt the same way and 4 months later we were married. We've been happily married now for 9 months. I never would have thought that we would have ended up together, but when I confessed my feelings for him I thought, well he is leaving so what do I have to lose. I took a chance and it worked out. And as an added bonus, his mom and I were already friends and I never had to worry about the "mother in law".

It certainly was unexpected. Met my fiance on line about 3 years ago. We both swore that we would never get remarried etc., but fate has a way of changing things and now we will marry next May 20.

It happened when I wasn't looking, literally. My best friend saw him glancing at me at a 50th birthday party. I was all concerned about her because she was sick (pregnant) meanwhile she was noticing that he looking at me. ( He denies it to this day!) She told me 3 days later that she checked out this guy that was checking me out on Saturday. " He's a good guy, single, great friends, great job. He is interested if you want to give you number to L, he'll call you" Now, I've been on many blind dates for about 8 years with no luck so one more try wouldn't kill me. Something inside said go for it and I gave out my number. Two days later he called him and we spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone. We had so much in common it was freaky. We spent everynight since on the phone together, 13 months and counting

my wife and i met in a music ministry at college.

she was a few months removed from a 2 year relationship where the guy was going to propose. i was chasing high school girls three years my younger. we just sort of "clicked." she was always that friend I'd never date.

she fell asleep on my arm in the tour van... the rest, as they say, is history...

we're celebrating 6 months of wedded bliss tonight :)
