Well if he isn't married, he is still fair game. He must be very nice to have helped you out, that's a plus but if he's flirty with all the girls that may be a problem. Since he helped you use that as an opportunity. Tell him as a thank you you would like to take him out for dinner or cook him a meal at home. Don't get too fancy or expensive cause that will make him think right away that you are chasing him. Take it easy and slow. If he refuses the meal then just present him with a small gift like a book or CD and tuck a note inside telling him Thank You and if he ever needs something a friend to call you. Wait at least a week and then ask him to do you a favor. Make up something like helping move some furniture or to go with you to pick out a gift for a male relative. Keep finding reasons to talk to him. Maybe you can eventually ask him out to a concert or some sort of event where you need a partner to accompany you. If he's interested he' start showing more interest and if he's really still interested in staying with his long-distance GF than maybe you are gonna have to be happy with him as just a good friend.

He might be a player or he like to flirt with different ladies that's some thing you have to decide on. Just talk to him about the situation and tell him how you feel. I known so many ladies that have gotten wrapped up in the guys that are straight players. All you can do is ask and be careful not to fall for the wrong guy!

I'd wait til the girl friend is no longer his girlfriend before pursuing this guy, cause if you were the girlfriend who lived across the country you wouldn't want someone doing that .

Have to agree with AR. If this fella is hooked up already then allow him to try and be faithful to his sweetie. If he chooses not to be then he can live with the consequences, but why get involved in this as history always repeats itself.

ask him out for coffee or something and find out his real feelings for you. after a while i would tell him how you feel about him and recognize that he has a girlfriend, but you still have feelings for him. good luck i hope it works out!

If he does have a girlfriend...dont mess with him. Trust me. If he's cheating on her...he'll cheat on you too.
