How do I use astral projection to time travel? If anything, how do I project in the first place? Also, I need serious answers. I don't want anybody to try and be funny saying stuff like "get a flux capacitor".

Many people believe that time travel is capable with astral projection. If this were possible, you would have to reach a level of awareness beyond the dimensions in which we exist.

Unfortunately that awareness would show you nonspace, where things that exist essentially do not exist and all that ever happened or will happened would become readily available.

To put it completely simply, your mind would explode from the influx of data if it were to survive in a complete level of nonexistence.

(In other news, time travel will still be impossible until we develop the technology. Once we do that, then any time beyond that point will be accessible. The past is unreachable...sorry)

First of all i would like to know what religion you follow because every religion has different beliefs on how to do astral projection.

I am Wiccan, astral projection might I add can be dangerous if you are not careful. You can project your body to the astral plane but if you don't know what your doing you may not come back. No Joke.

If you are serious about astral projection I suggest you go to the bookstore or library and read up on it. Its not something you play around with. And as far as time travel goes, you are traveling in a different dimention there for time is different. You may be out of body for 10 min on earth, but in the astral plane you could be there for hours. So time travel isn't really relevant.

I can help you on the projecting, but not the time travel--I've never had any cause to attempt such a thing. I'd Google for the Golden Dawn's Body of Light method--relatively fast results (most people experience a full etheric body projection in under a month) and, well, it worked quite well for me.

To tell you the truth there is no possible way you could go back in time. There would be no way to breath since oxgagen goes into the other second after the other. Besides you'd create a curve in the time sapce continuim and make another blackhole. It's just impossible.

The current theory as I understand it, is that it is possible to warp time-space in such a way as to be pulled out of one timeline and (depending on whether you hold to the relativistic or absolutist position) deposited in either the same time line in a different spot or sent to an alternative time line. Hwo to do that soley by means of mental power is beyond anything I have studied.

People in many cultures believe in this sort of thing. Check out the movie Somewhere in Time, get a book on Shamanism, or read Stephen Hawking.

Have a safe trip!

If it were possible to time travel....wouldn't someone from the future already have come back in time to tell us how to go about doing it??? Just a thought...not being a smart@ss. I'm curious to see others' answers, though.

Honestly, it can't be done. Enjoy the present. The only time travel one can do is in the imagination. Well of course, since you have posted this question you are now in the future!
