Let's start from the end obviously it's nice to have the last name of atleast on of the parents. The middle name can be a way to keep some tradition by passing on a name from a relative close or an ancesstor (Thoams, James, William, Patrick, ect) For the first name you have to be carful. There have been several studies that show a persons first name can influence how much teachers like a child, how emplyers hire emploees, and so on. So pick something that you can imagine calling an adult. Try to be some what origanal but not inventive. Don't get to crazy with the spelling, keep it simple and easy to pronounch. And make sure it doesn't ryhme with anything crude or sujestive. Have fun making lists and it will come to you!

We chose Ethan Russell- Russell is not a name I'd normally pick out, but it is special because it's after my husband's uncle who passed away a few yrs ago. So we will be picking middle names that have meaning- special people. Our next son's name will be Cameron Robert- Robert after my grandfather and my husband's grandfather as well :)
Other boy names I like are Tristan, Caleb, Thomas, Taylor
Goodluck! Really, if you go through a baby book or even online, and highlight or write down ones that are your favorite- you can even look at meanings, that always helps- and to be honest, I wasn't going to name my children after a family member at all, but then it came to me, and I just thought of how special it would be for their middle name to have a special meaning- after a family member we love.

What is your surname? Choose a name that will work with that.
Choose a name that can be read from school lists without causing laughter to everyone else.
Choose a name that you can shout out in the park without looking like a jerk.
