It's one option being looked at. My own view is that the war was a mistake in the first place, but having invaded, we now have a moral responsibility to the people of Iraq to leave them a stable government with a chance at lasting peace. I hate that people are dying there, and wish it could all stop today, but it won't, no matter what we do. And if sending more troops now will give Iraq a better chance of having long term peace, I think we should do it. I don't know what the best answer is, but hopefully if we put the decision making process in the hands of people who are open to ideas rather than political hacks (a la Rumsfeld) we can come up with something.

War is never okay. Remember the Democrats started our involvement in vietnam. I guess the point is screw politics and only use the military arm when it means the safety of our country.
Also, I am against this war, but I am all in favor of sending a massive build up in Iraq. I am tired of this half-assed ocupation. Iraq has only gotten this bad because we are giving the insurgency room to grow and expand. This B.S. hold baghdad because it is key is costing us big time.

The democrats are upset because we went into this war with false information and they blame the republicans/bush administration for this. You know no wmd's.
Now that we are there do we leave the Iraqi people to muddle through on their own or help them to establish a working and stable government and protect civilians while this happens? Being democrats they want to help everyone.
They are both corrupt so it shouldn't surprise you that they the dems have changed their message now that they are elected. That is the same thing the republicans did when they were elected.

YEP It has lengthy previous complete circle. save in thoughts very last 12 months at the same time as my Q&A's were deleted because i change right into a 24/7 professional conflict Liberal. i'd have voted for Obama if he had purely admitted he change into going to attack Pakistan, fairly of dropping my vote on Ralph Nader. EDIT: save in thoughts the music about the Democrat Patriarch. In 1814 we took a touch vacation alongside with Col Jackson down the robust Missisip. We took a touch Francis Bacon we took a touch beans and fought the Bloody British on the city of latest Orleans

It really isn't a difference between Democrats & Republicans, not once they are in Washington. At that point you have to follow the money trail. You have to ask yourself, who is lining their pockets with this war. You have to ask how Haliburton got the pipeline without bidding. You have to ask how come 9 million dollars was handed out over there without any paperwork showing to who or where it went. You have to realize this war is not about anything but oil and money. Gee, who is linked to
Haliburton and the oil industry?

The war only turned bad when they needed to get elected.

They think that by enacting the draft that they can send only Republicans to war. This is the only war that they would support, one that only sends Republicans to defend our country. Nothing else is important.
Typical Democrat!

Because liberals are stupid, and most of the US population can relate, so they accept their views.
AKA: Stupid people believe other stupid people.
