The mouth will heal on its own. To cope with the pain you could take a pain reliever, drink water and Ice. The burn can still be doing damage after you burnt it

a product called ST37--hard to find sometimes, usually can be found in the older, smaller drugstores--it is over the counter and costs approx 8-10$ for a 8-12 ounce bottle.

I burnt my tongue four days ago. It was sore up until today. It will heal itself very quickly. Unless you were doing some fire breathing stunt, it'll be OK.
