We lost everything for Hurricane Rita and we are...?

still struggling and I would like to know if anyone could give me some resources for Christmas help....not only for myself but other families???

I just want everyone to know we did recieve help but when you lose everything from clothing, house, children's items, beds, appliances, and etc...it is taking a long time! Yes, we are trying to help ourselves, but things are still a struggle and I was just trying to see if anyone had any suggestions for myself and other families that I personally know! Hurricane Rita was very devasting for the small village of Delcambre Louisiana! Many of us have had to leave a place that we called home since birth! Again, thanks to those who answered and I am sorry for the one who feels as though we just want to want! Do Not Judge Unless You have Walked in My Shoes! Thanks for the great answers!

Try Churches! Our church has sponsored some Hurricane Katrina families, and we all donate to help them...so other churches could adopt you!

i just do not get it so much has been given,to people of this horrible disaster and people still are asking for help. at some point you have to help yourself. do you have a job,are you back in your community contributing to recovery process. and some people are just tired of seeing people expecting to be taken care of for ever . you must help yourself first. and seeing on TV how people have taken advantage by Hurricane Rita survivors sickens me.
