There is a Lady I know in Washington with a daughter who is going through some tough times, and needs help getting caught up, and I am sure she would like to provide her daughter with a nice Christmas, with food and possibly a toy. Welfare has turned her down because of disability she is suppose to be recieving from L& I from a back injury she got on the job in June, and they are giving her the run-around and not paying out, and in the meantime she is struggling to keep her apartment and feed and clothe her 9 year-old. she is able to use the food bank which helps some and that is it. She has no family to help her cope with these hard times, and the holidays are going to be depressing for her. Please help if you are able to, anything.

People have so many trials to deal with. Xmas. & a child is such a tough one. We have been throough many hard times our selves. Is there no
Xmas cheer boards or salvation army out lets in the area, or church. Many of organization can & will help. Check the phone book for the area & give them a call. They can only help if they are aware of this persons plight. They often provide food hampers & gifts for the little ones.

I have worked for the welfare offices before. If she has not received the money for the disability then she can get help. My guess is she is lying about something because welfare will help her if she needs it. Other than that go to churches, red cross salvation army toys for tots. there are all kinds of places to get help and the Internet is not one of them. too many scams.

TOYS FOR TOTS and Salvation Army. I buy stuff for my daughter there even when I am able to afford nice things. They have very good second hand stuff, and it goes towards helping others. My mom used to work for one their chapters and they help all types of families, even those with 2 parents in the home.

IF THE SINGLE MOM'S CHILD IS SCHOOL AGE, THEN GET HER TO TRY TALKING TO HER CHILD'S SCHOOL. YOU WOULD BE AMAZED HOW MUCH THEY CARE. I LIVE IN SOUTH CAROLINA & MY DAUGHTER'S SCHOOL HAS A LIST OF CHILDREN THAT NEED SOME HELP WITH GIFTS EVERY YEAR. MY DAUGHTER & I ADOPTED 2 LITTLE GIRLS LAST CHRISTMAS. THIS IS VERY PRIVATE- NO PERSONAL INFORMATION WAS GIVEN. THE ONLY THINGS WE WERE TOLD WERE THEIR SIZES & SOME THINGS THEY WANTED. IT REALLY WAS GREAT. JUST CHECK IT OUT & GOOD LUCK!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you go to the bank and set up a fund for her? If she really is that bad people may help if they think that the money is really going to her.
