i have to find objects that look like numbers for photography class. ex: a tree looks like one, mailbox looks like a seven, etc.

well..this is from my 1st grade manual: a swan can look like a 2, a pair of glasses can look like an 8, an egg can look like an 0, a wheelchair can look like a 5, i don't know...

Now, I never heared of this. But do you think it means that the subject looks like a particular number. The straight standing tree resembles the number "1" and the mailbox, shot from it's left side looks like a "7". That's what I believe the number method is trying to explain.

If you take an up-side-down picture of a chair it looks like a 4 (from the side)

Also, for the number 3:
If you have a dresser with 5 drawers pull out the top, middle and bottom drawer and take a picture from the side ;)
