It is almost impossible to spot reduce, you need to increase your cardio and decrease your fat intake, weight watchers has a great program and helped me to lose 30 pounds.
FIVE days is not enough time to lose your gut. However, I can tell you this, if you go and buy one of those wraps that you can wrap around your waist (sweat belt) and do a lot of cardio then it will help you to sweat out some of that fluid that you may be holding in your mid-section and you will feel a lot thinner once you take it off. It is only a temporary solution but it might help a bit if you are trying to fit into a certain skirt and need to take an inch off your waist....again...the results are temporary! (only a few hours) AND AND AND don't starve yourself, you will only lose muscle! Eat right, exercise and weight watchers can help you do that.
You can also go to a salon and get a wrap, it supposedly takes off 2-14 inches in 2 1/2 hours but it can be very costly!

I disagree with some of the above posters. Losing a gut is NOT done by doing situps. Situps and crunches only strengthen the underlying rectus abdominus muscles. This is great for core strength and it also helps your back. It tones your muscles..but does not burn a significant amount of calories to impact fat loss in the gut. So, don't stop doing your sit-ups and crunches...just add cardio.
Cardiovascular exercise burns fat. I would suggest your walk, jog, bike, stairclimb, row, or do any exercise that raises your heart beat about 60-70% of your max, or moderate intensity. Generally, your max heartrate is your age subtracted from 220. I would do this about 30-45 minutes a day. Another thing to keep in mind is..that when you lose weight..it generally....loses all over..not just the gut...it is almost impossible to target weight loss in specific areas of the body.
Sadly, five days is not enough time to significantly lose weight. The max you could lose is a couple of pounds. I would do the cardio I suggested every day until the ball and keep doing it after the ball..after all....you want to make gains and keep it too. Drinking more water is good..but don't overdo it..it can make you
more bloated.
The problem is...that weight loss isn't a quick fix...it takes about a month to loss a significant amount of weight.
I wish you luck...and don't get discouraged...if you do not lose that much..weight..remember..its the body fat that is causing the gut....sometimes not your overall weight. Just try to keep working out.

Ok, you are 15. You WILL NOT be able to lose it in time. And if you could, you would probably hurt yourself. If you are concerned about your health, you waist or anything - talk with your family doctor first. That is why they are there. Please, stay away from pills or anything that promises quick results - they can be dangerous. You can only lose that kind of gut over time(and there are some VERY physically capable people with guts). 1-2 pounds a week is normal. You will not lose a gut through sit-ups but through intense bursts of exercise like sprints and healthy food (like salads, lean protein, and whole wheat breads), small portions, 5-7 times a day. Work with your doctor - just tell him what you want to do and he can help. There are no quick fixes here. You are still young and will continue to change as you grow.

for one you cant lose weight in the area you want. you can tone that area so it looks better. but five days is not enough time. just relax, i am sure that it isnt as bad as you think it is. there are different food that will make you bloated such as salt. so if you cut your salt intake til then that might make you feel better. do some more research on those types of food. another piece of advise dont stop eating because then you wont have much fun at the ball, you will be crabby, and more then likly you will end up binging. hope this helps! have fun at the ball!

purely eat wholesome and workout..in case you starve your self that is the dumbest ingredient you are able to do at the same time as attempting to drop some weight!! because your body shops even though it has in that is equipment as fat because it doesn't recognize at the same time as that is gonna get fed back!!! So, i recognize this is going to sound strange despite the indisputable fact that the better you eat the better weight you lose!! attempt eating a minimum of four-5 small nutrients an afternoon wholesome meals end result greens etc.. sturdy success yet when your going to do it, do it the right way!! you are able to lose 15 pounds in a month to a month and a 0.5 in case you eat wholesome and workout

5 days? There is not much you can do in 5 days. Sorry. You might be able to lose a pound or two. That's it. No pills. Really, no one needs diet pills. No way. STOP EATING SO MUCH. I promise if you eat much smaller portions you will lose weight.

it took 100,000 x 100,000 sit ups for those guys with washboard abs so it would not be possible to lose that gut in 5 days..you are on the right direction do sit ups and be careful with what you put into that gut
