I'm going to ask this again because it is really bothering me and only 1 person answered. i was best friends with this guy for 3 years that liked me and I was too scared to start a relationship with. We lost touch because I got married for several years. When I got divorced I tried to find him about 4 years have passed now and I finally found him by phone yesterday. I was hoping he was still single because I'm in love with him and have thought of him all this time. He told me he had been looking for me for a while and was very glad to hear from me. He got married last year and is happily married he wants to see me and me and his wife hang out. I adore him and I am very happy for him but I am sad and don't know if I can hang out with him and his wife because it will make me sad. We were so perfect for each other. I really don't want him out of my life but what should I do? Should I leave him alone? This is so hard we were so perfect for each other. I still want to be friends. HELP

LEAVE HIM ALONE, CUT OFF CONTACT . One or two things will end up happeneing.
1) You will end up in cheating with him.
or
2) You will end up fighting with his new wife.

You just answered your own question. You still want to be friends. If you can handle it without messing up his marriage, go for it. If you have another motive, leave him alone.

If your feelings for him are that strong...maybe you should hang out with him and his wife. If things are just too awkward...you don't have to do it again.

you should explain to him that it even though you're happy for him, it hurts to see him with someone else so the time you spend with him has to be limited.
