about the same if i'm lucky!! she'd slept for eleven hours max a night for the last two years and can survive on less ! i feel its a bit late too but that is her pattern and she just doesn't want to change it - it works for her and thats fine by me. my cousin's little boy has always slept far more than her despite being just a week younger - i suppose they are just all different!

My 7 year old goes to bed at 8 p.m. every school night-weekends she rarely makes it to 9. As long as he's waking up without a problem, and doesn't seem tired through the day, then it's the right bedtime for him.

He's been going to bed at 9:00 ever since he was about 2. That's about when he gets tired naturally. However, it isn't a firm bedtime. Sometimes it's a little earlier or later, depending on behaviour and external circumstance.

My son is 6 and in first grade.
