I haven't talked to my dad in 5 years and he is still in prison. Don't worry about what to say. If you want to be there when he gets out and see him then the words will just find their way. No matter how much planning you do you will probable say something different than planned. Good Luck

I'm sure you are nervous and it will be a little uncomfortable at first, but I think once you get there and see him you will have plenty to talk about. Tell him about your life, your friends and what you've been doing. You can also talk about your future plans. I'm sure the visit will mean alot to him. Just be yourself. He'll want to know all about you and your life. Good Luck.

He will probably have things to say to you and ask questions you can answer. It's okay to tell him you don't know what to say and that you feel awkward. Just give him a chance to build a relationship with you, and it will happen.

That's a toughie. Start out by just saying hello. Tell him about yourself. You likes, hobbies, interests, etc.
