Can you give me a link to the Qs & As?
I see more ugliness coming from the athiests but I'm sure there are a lot nasty so-called christians, too.
(Christian literally means Christ-like. Christ would not be like that so I refer to those types as "so-called christians.")

I don't spend a lot of time on the "religion & spirituality" site so I haven't seen much.
Chippy - I already stated that there is ugliness on both sides. I addressed some ugliness from the athiests last night & want to address the ugliness from the so-called Christians. I was wanting to use actual quotes like I did in my post last night & was hoping to get some help on that. (I just happened to stumble upon a very hateful athiest last night & that was where all those quotes came from.)

Ashley - I honestly believe my brother is seriously overweight, but I can chose to be civil & say "You are serviously overweight" or I can say "You are a fat tub of lard."
One way is simply me stating my opinion & concern. The other is a prime example of ugliness.

even if athiests are uglier then christians (which im not agreeing with, because both sides have their disrespectful people in them)... however christians are held to higher standards as they have a book to base morals from whereas athiests have their self for basis of morality.

I cannot directly give you links, I have seen some nasty remarks. I agree Christians are supposed to be Christ Like. I can say most Christians do not try to be nasty, and perhaps their comments are taken wrong or out of context. Christians do live in the matter of which Christ would approve-generally speaking. But lets face it even Jesus Christ himself got aggravated and called the religious leaders hypocrites. Christians love all they just have zero telerance for the blasphemy of the Lord.

I consider myself neither an atheist nor Christian, but I will give my input anyway. I actually do not label myself anything in regards to religion or spirituality as they are all man-made labels and that automatically limits your ability to really know God or whatever you may call your higher power (Call him Fred for all he cares).
The posts that anger me the most are any that stand by the "I'm right therefore you must be wrong" theory. More wars, deaths, and simple arguments throughout history have been caused by religious differences than any other reason.
People must learn to accept that what works for them does not by default work for everyone else. Find what makes sense in your heart and live your life by that. If someone disagrees with you, it is NOT your duty to convert them to your way as long as they are living a good and just life. Accept their viewpoint as what it is - their faith. Just like you would want them to accept yours.

I don't think any question or answer that they post is "Ugly" It's what they believe, and I accept what they believe in. They can't change how I feel, I can't change how they feel.

On here? Or in my email?
Because in my email I've been told that I need to shut my mouth.
On here, I've been called names like "moron". And after the guy chose me as the best answer too.

From the people here who call themselves Christians but use words like "fag", "niggger", etc. How can you call yourself "christ-like" and use such words of hate. I don't have links, but you most definitely have seen them...
