Most the time when they are just too hyper in my opinion they need more exercise. Play with them more...play fetch....go for a walk...run around outside...or simple start crate training. If you don't want to do these things or you've been playing for an hour and they are still hyper you need to start crate training. Some think it's harsh but believe me it's not, if gives them a quiet time to relax and cool down for the day.

give her something to do and make sure you give lots of love. Also go on long walks so she gets tired and wont get as hyper. My puppy was like that and he also calmed down a bit with age lol kiss kiss .x

Most of the time. You can begin stopping the biting now. Every time he/she bites, firmly squeeze their mouth together and say no with a firm tone. This may take a few days, but it does work. Don't be a softy, the puppy will forgive you and you will both be happy.

She's a baby! Little ones are neverending balls of energy! Try playing with her outside and walking her a lot. The more you give her to do the more she will settle for you in the house. A tired puppy will sleep.

Common sense should tell you that she'll calm down as she gets older. In the meantime, exercise and a little training will always help.

i had a really hyper terrier and all the outside exercise didn't seem to help. i started to train him with general commands such as "sit," and "down," and for whatever reason the intellectual challenge seemed to exhaust him. we would work on a new trick for awhile and then he'd pass out for hours! he ended up knowing so many tricks!

I saw a video one time that dogs calm each other down by yawning! :) It's worth a try.

I would try more activity and definately abdience, just becuase she is asmall does not mean that she does not need training. they other dog on my Boxer mixes class is a yorkie mix, and she has made a huge improvement in her attitude and hyperness.

I wear it out of mine! If they're full of it I race right around with them and they ALWAYS tire before I do! BOL
