You can purchase the Student version of Office (includes Word/Excel) for a fraction of the price. You need to get your school ID # to use this discount price and to purchase the Student/Teacher/School edition of the software.

The software says on the cover that is for Teachers/Students etc.

Your school computer store should have a copy as well.

If you cannot afford to BUY Office then download the Free alternative

openoffice.org

100% compatible with Word/Excel/Power Point/Access/etc.

Try going down to your local library and buying it. Most every big college sells software for dir cheap. Microsoft Word comes in a student edition that can be bought dirt cheap at your campuses library. Check it out!
Or, try ebay. I just sold two Microsoft Office Professional Editions 2003 each for $265. They are worth $400 each, so get in line sista! Good luck nagga

Microsoft Word is one of the programmes on Microsoft Office. You cannot buy Word on its own. Sorry.

you can get it through your college for real cheap. And you can get the whole office package not just word. Or maybe a friend already has the cd for it and you could borrow it.

Find an IT worker for a company who's willing to let you use a copy.
