Because with the new breakthroughs in Physics we may soon be able to explain ghostly phenominon. Theories about atoms and molecules became a theory known as string theory which became a theory known as Membrane theory or M theory. M theory gave crediance to the idea that there are other dimensions. They have managed to theoritcally prove that things from other dimensions bleed over into our own and vice versa. For instance when using mathmatical equations they were able to show that gravity doesn't actually exsist in this dimension but in a tube like dimension known as the 11th dimension.
Watch the Science channel sometime. You might find that there is more to science than you think and that parnormal activity always has some kind of scientific reason for being.

Because some are just mentally ill, and see things. and others do see things they THINK are ghosts. When in reality they are only evil demon spirits pretending to be that of a dead person, and will often even know personal infomation that makes it seem like it really is the dead person they used to know. But, it is the devil that gives the info. remember he has much power too, and often appears an an angel of light, according to God.
But, the devil cant give live or take life. all else he can do. But, the Bible says the dead know nothing. and says talking to supposedly dead ppl if evil and sin. and will lead to death. Its witchcraft. an abomination to God.
But, are there real ppl out there that believe they see and talk to ghosts? YEP, just dont know that the devil is putting them there to lead them further in to his witchcraft and the destruction that brings.

I think they want a scientific answer so they personally do not feel like they are seeing things and need some valadation.It is scary when you can't explain what you have experienced for fear of being thought of as a nut case so you try to find some kind of answer.

i don't know. it's interesting though how many people wake up from sleep, see a ghost and then go back to sleep.
i saw a ghost once and i couldn't sleep well for so long. i had to have the light on and i would try to stay awake as long as i could and sleep in the day as much as i could. that was when i was a kid.

people see them and then later they tend to doubt themselves. or its because they just want to confirm once and for all that there's ghost that live in their house or farm with them. they've been told by others, witnessed themselves, but they want scientific proof so that they can say that there are ghosts living there and they have the proof.
