Scratching hair? Huh? That doesn't make sense. "Scratching" your hair won't get rid of dandruff. If you mean "scratching" your scalp, then no, that will most likely create MORE dandruff. Also, "scratching" your scalp won't MAKE you lose hair. It is absolutely normal for every human being to lose 50-100 hairs per day. That's how the hair cycle works. Also, for the dandruff problem you will need an anti-dandruff shampoo like Head and Shoulders.

i see that your name is jen so i am going to assume you are female.

try shaking it out (bend over and shake your head about, but be careful not to get whiplash or a concussion) and gently fluffing your hair around. do not brush. if you have flakes it can just be worse. try using a moisturizing dandruff shampoo a few times a week. and try to avoid wearing black.

unless its real bad, don't even worry about it.

Hey jen go to a drugstore there in the shampoo isle is a product that you can shake on. I don't remember the name but I used once and it worked for me. Lots of luck.

Blowdry it from the underneath, I did that before my last dance and it worked.
