Treat him as a casual acquaintance. Do not expect to give out any 'extras' at this point.

Well, obviously he sees something in you that would make him want to fly all the way to see you. If he just wanted sex, it's pretty easy to find a hooker. I don't know if you felt connected to him in a "more than friends" way, but if so, just enjoy yourself. :) He wants to be with you for the Christmas party, who knows after that? Take it as it comes. The man wouldn't be wasting his time coming for what is apparently a distance to spend an amount of time with you regardless how small that time may be.

Start off slow - let him give the first indicator - he could just be a really nice guy - but chances are that if he is flying in for a party, he genuinely likes you (even if you only met for a few hours) - but like I said before - take it slow as you really don't know him all that well

hmm if he is taking the time to fly in to go to a party with u..thn i'd say he really wants to spend time with u.what u haveto do is look at the situation from outside the box,..i.e from the time u met him to now..the time u spent apart..how was it?what was the communication like?u're the one who knows all the datails..so whtever u feel deep down is probably the right thing which u should do.

something tells me that you are interested in him on some level and what to make a good impression when he arrives and hangs out with you. I would say take it one step at a time and enjoy rediscovering each other. Celebrate the fact that you are enjoying the company of someone new......don't try to put it into a box that it doesn't belong in .... (friends, date).....just see it for what it really is......

Well is it an internet fling or are you guys just friends? Either way, I would treat him as a friend b/c he might be what you didn't see in him last time. Besides you seem like you need help bad. So I am guessing that you don't know him THAT well. I would go as a friend for now.
Best Wishesâ¥

I would be surprised if he actually pays money to see someone he does not know. He's putting too much pressure on you for a first date. If he shows, he'll surely pressure you into moving at lighting speed into something you might not be ready for. Anyone who rushes you, regardless of his or her occupation or income, is not looking out for your best interest. Relationship/people opportunities take time to digest.

If he is flying in to see you and only you, he may be looking for some kind of benefits. If yoou aren't interested in him like that, you should probably find a girlfriend of yours that will "take one for the team."

Depends... is he really coming to just see you ??? or is he coming to see someone else on the side (i.e. ex gf, **** buddy, etc.) I would check to see how and where he spends his time. If he spends a lot of it with you and puts a lot of attention to you, then it's you. But if he is busy going somewhere, doing something... he's probably banging someone.
