Jesus did not compose the Golden Rule. It was already ancient when he was born and can still be found in many different cultural traditions. Man did create it, and it is indeed a most valuable ethical precept.

"This is the sum of duty. Do not unto others that which would cause you pain if done to you." ~ Mahabharata 5:1517, from the Vedic tradition of India, circa 3000 BCE

"Give to every human being every right that you claim for yourself." ~ Col. Robert Green Ingersoll

The Golden rule is articulated in different ways in many belief systems. You wonder why all these enlightened teachers are conveying the same moral message. I think the Golden rule is sufficient-no Platinum rule is necessary.

If Jesus stated what we refer to as the "Golden Rule" (...do unto others as you would want them to do unto you...), why would man (created by Him) want to create a more valuable rule?
Man is not greater than the Creator.
