I'm turning 18 in january and I am kinda short.. I rhink I'm 5'3-4" haven't checked in ages... My unc;le says that swimming makes you taller. I started taking lesson and really hope its true//
Some people have told me that you stop growing when your 18.
Is it true?
My 13 year old brother is almost taller than me :s

No, it's not true. There is nothing that is going to make you taller. No supplements, vitamins, drugs, devices, exercises.....nothing. You could still grow maybe another inch, but by the time you are 21, you are done growing.

ì have never had this problem because im 6"1 but im only 17 but try wearing higher heels and maybe shorter dress to show more of your legs which makes you look taller and also have shorter hair :)

just try to be happy and content with who you are and remember....good things come in small packages!!!

Nothing wrong with being short honey! Be proud of who you are you don't necesarily stop growing at18 it depends on loads of stuff eg smoking stunts growth

You have no control over how tall you get. genes are in control of that. i am 24 years old and i am only 4'11". my mom is 5'2" and my dad is 6'3". i stopped growing at about age 12. dont worry how tall you are!! thats not really "you"!!!

i tried hanging upside down too. didnt work.
get some inserts and learn to accept it
funny enuf i went out with a 6'1 woman
and i am 5'8
tall women feel awkward too

try stretching while ur in bed. do it before and after you sleep. a really good stretch. it worked for me. im 5'8 & oriental female lol
