I have to look at the world and wonder where did the values and morals go. You may say this is a closed minded thought, however I believe that our standards are about bottomed out, and regardless of what anyone thinks, there will be a day of accountabilty. I for one do not believe it is about "religion", but about a personal relationship with a wonderful Saviour. It seems nobody wants to be accountable for their actions. No one will just say I did it, or I was wrong. Do I think I am perfect, indeed NOT.,but I want to strive to live a better life and be an example to our young people. I often wonder why everything has to be promoted by some sort of vulgarity. You may say I'm old fashioned, well so be it. I still believe in clean living and Godly standards and I am not ashamed to tell the world. My peace comes from God, nothing or nobody else can give you that and you certainly cannot buy it. God Bless

Amen, and if I die this very moment, I will have my gain because to die is gain, and to live is Christ.

If I knew this was my last day to live, yes, I would be ready to meet the Lord because being in relationship with Him keeps me prepared. Yes, I make mistakes but thank God that I have an advocate with the Father- Jesus. I also thank God and quite often use the great tool of repentence.

People can live good lives and set positive examples for the young and have clean living and love for their neighbors without the saviour factor involved. I personally would be interested in watching God tell someone that despite the fact that he lived a good life, he can't get into heaven. What kind of God would he present himself as?

I am SO ready to meet the Lord. Everyday is a struggle but it is just preparing us for Heaven. I was saved as a child, got off the wrong path and last year rededicated my life to Christ. We constantly have to remind ourselves that it is all about Him and not about us. I love your question. Maybe someone who doesn't believe will read your question and really think about it and decide to change their life so that they themself will be ready to meet the Lord.
God bless you

Yes, I would be ready. I live everyday waiting for the Lord to come. He says to be ready for Him. And I am ready! He will recognize me because I am born again in the Blood of Jesus Christ!

Sermon ended.../dismantle soapbox
(Note, that was meant humorously...the question itself is good, but I couldn't resist. I gave the question a thumbs up, by the way).

Yes I am ready to meet MY MAKER now.
If he grants me time to help others; that is his choice.
