I need to find out what will happen-if there are any signs that she is going into labour, if i should keep my other dog away(the father), how long until i can touch the puppies myself, how long the labour roughley take, what happens if she doesnt burst the sacs herself and what signs should i look out for if she is struggling? How can i make it more comfortable for her? Basically i need advice on start to finish, this is my first experience, and i think she may be close to giving birth as i can see and feel the puppies moving and she is quite big.

The best advice is to get a vet's phone nukber and keep it handy, to walk you through the whelping if you get in a bind.
Call your vet today, and ask him what to expect, what to have ready, and how to determine is she's ready to whelp. Hopefully, by now your vet will have seen this animal at least 3 times during the pregnancy, and be very aware of it's potential needs.

when dealing with newborn puppies so that your scent doesn't get over the puppies you might want to invest in some gloves the latex kind. Stuggling depends what is her breathing like. Look for normal behavior in you dog is she moving around alot or not eating or drinking. The best book to buy is @ PetSmart or Petco called everything you need to know about dogs.

You'll know that she is approaching labor when she starts "nesting" (spinning in circles, trying to make her bedding comfortable, digging inside her bed to make it bulkier, etc.)
You can help her by staying with her while she's giving birth. You can help take the sacks off the puppies. Make sure she doesn't harm the first puppy - sometimes dogs, especially first time moms eat their young. Make sure she doesn't ignore the puppies. Push them towards her so that she can lick them clean - that's their way of bonding.
