if you cant afford to pay for a puppy, can you aford the vet bills, food, bedding, leads, insurance etc? If you can have you rang your local rspca, dogs trust, local paper, epuzs.co.uk, ad-mart.co.uk are good sites. A lot of people buy puppies for xmas presents so maybe in january rescue homes etc might have more pups for rehoming. Depends really what breed you would like. www.labrador-rescue.org.uk/ have lots of labs for rehoming, but i dont think they have many pups. Good luck, but remember bigger the dog more they will cost for food etc. I hope you find the right dog for yourselfs.

go to an animal rescue place! u can help the puppies there b/c they've probably been abused or left all alone....it's a good thing to do! if u don't like that idea...then u should try looking up breeders who live around you in the newspaper or online. you can also go to a pet store, but i think that puppies that were bred in a home are more worth buying than puppies from some store...you never kno wut happens in there!....
just make sure you find the right kind you want. u hav to ask yourself or make decision w/ your girlfriend if you want a certain type of dog, a mixed breed, a male/female, a small/large/medium size, etc. mixed breeds are less expensive than getting say a pure bred chihuahua or w/e. some kinds of dogs hav different personalities and some are harder to keep up than others! keep that in mind! i luv my chihuahua, but he can be really cute and cuddley at some times and then in a second he'll turn on u and try to bite!! but i still think he's the best. i personally like smaller dogs because they don't take up much room and i think that they're soo adorable! but i really don't kno if bigger dogs are easier to take care of or are nicer or w/e! lol
good luck finding the pup of your dreams! it took me like a year (i looked in the newspaper) my doggy wasn't really expensive either
oh and make sure the pup is healthy...u should go see it and play w/ it b4 you go buy it! make sure it's coat is shiny and moist noise and shiny eyes: this is healthy! not dull eyes or coat...that would be unhealthy
good luck! you'll luv your puppy believe me it is worth spending a lifetime w/ it!

Contact your local rescue centres and get yourself on their lists so that when they get some puppies in you can go and take a look. Puppies don't often need 'rehoming' because they are cute and people are willing to buy them. However, after Christmas there are loads of puppies dumped at rescue centres because they are unwanted presents. You'll be able to find one to give a loving home pretty quickly during January and February.

i could first take the dogs to the Vet. to be sure there is not any wellness problems that would perhaps reason a number of your problems. No telling what this detrimental dogs has been dealing with so please wait and see. I in basic terms experienced a domestic dog yet I have been given her while she substitute into 6 one million/2 weeks previous, she got here from a breeder. I actually are turning out to be a number of my dogs from the humane Society and that i've got had no issues of potty coaching. i could walk the dogs to the door , positioned the leash on the dogs. walk around the backyard back not in an rather super area. walk it interior the comparable place every time. as quickly because it does bypass exterior it is going to start to sniff the place it has long previous and could start up going there. The detrimental dogs would not understand what it somewhat is meant to do if this is been in a cage for see you later. The grass in all probability confuses it. I shop my leash on the door knob in any respect circumstances. The dogs will associate the leash with going exterior and could walk to the door to bypass out.My dogs after 3 one million/2 weeks will walk to the door and take the leash off the door and look ahead to me. you in basic terms would desire to maintain an intensive eye on the dogs and while it starts off to ask your self take it exterior. every time my domestic dog does potty exterior i will supply it a take care of as quickly as we come back interior. I shop the treats precise with the aid of the door. Please in basic terms provide the dogs time and many affection and it will come around. It substitute right into a competent difficulty you probably did you saved that dogs's life and it may pay you back!!!!

rescue centres, and adds in the paper/net. You can also try www.dogpages.org.uk this is a web for rehoming dogs/puppies, there are loads and its a good site, and you can get them from your region. would you rehome an older dog as it may be nicer, and get a puppy later, many dogs die in kennels ( older ones). We have found that you can get more pleasure out of an older dogs and its nicer for the dog as they dont have to spend their last few years in kennels. what age of puppy are you hoping to get and what breed?
good luck in finding one.

I HIGHLY suggest finding any shelters or rescue groups in your area and looking to adopt. they get new dogs and puppies all the time, and most of the time will offer shots/immunizations and neutering/spaying for a discount. they are looking for a happy home for their pups, not just to make some money like most breeders and pet stores are. also, the pups sometimes know that you've saved them from a bad or otherwise lonely life and feel indebted to you for it :)
good luck!

I am going tomorrow to pick a dog, hopefully, from a rescue shelter. I have opted to give a poor unfortunate little pup a good home, rather than buy one. I have been "vetted" today, to adopt a dog, and i am excited at going tomorrow, to find my perfect companion, to love, walk, and be its new mummy. It might not be easy to find my special friend, but i am going to persevere, until i do find the right dog for me, and give it another chance in life. Hopefully, i will find him or her tomorrow. You could do the same.
