Reviewed few answers. none of the asnwers were satisfactory. The thing is everybody talks about whatever they have learnet NOT what they think. Thats why we run towards GOD when we are in trouble. But the truth is GOD act like a "Witness" ONLY and it doesn't favour anybody. You get what you sowed. The LAW OF KARMA.
If you entertain the bad thoughts and desires, you will get negative effects in life. This is Certain. All you get in life is governed by the LAw of Causation. Means Every cause has an effect and every effect has a cause. It doesn't mean there is no cause if you don't know it.

God is the end result of a failed search for truth by a very shallow mind, provided that any search was made at all instead of swallowing the pile of delusional bilge that was spoon fed to you as a child

God the eternal Father is the Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation. He is just and holy, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. The qualities and powers exhibited in the Son and the Holy Spirit are also revelations of the Father. (Gen. 1:1; Rev. 4:11; 1 Cor. 15:28; John 3:16; 1 John 4:8; 1 Tim. 1:17; Ex. 34:6, 7; John 14:9.)

The concept of montheism is attributed to Abraham...who is quite often seen as a pinnicle figure in Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Yes, There is only one God but He is called by different names. Allah, Jehovah, God, Yaweh ect...It is sad that all of our religions can't get along seeing we worship the same God.

No, the Gods of different cultures have their own entity.

Faith is just that, faith. You can't put anything else on it, seeing, your hands, nothing but your heart. So your God could (and probably is) a lot different from mine or somebody elses.

Deep man, deep- but the phrasing leaves me baffled! You really meant to ask, Who exactly is God, right? That's one loaded question that I'm not willing to delve in.

I believe He is the One and Only. Its the teaching of Islam. He is more closer to us even than our abdominal aort. And also He is the One who is always next to you when your tear falls down from your cheek. He is the most merciful.
