Ok I am currently getting my asst. degree in Health administration online. I have already completed 30 credits so far. I want to be a nurse (RN) and when I am done my asst, I want to get my BS in nursing. Now what I want to know is how do I go about doing it? Do I have to start all over again and get my asst. in nursing or do I just transfer into a getting my bachelors degree? I need to know what steps do I take to get in the right direction!

You can transfer your credits onto the Bachelor program and continue with the rest of the courses necessary. Check with the university you plan to attend and give them a copy of your transcripts so they can help you understand the process.

See which courses are accepted by the school you want to go to. They will count those as credits you already earned. If the school doesn't accept the courses as transferable, then you'll have to start over. Talk to someone in the admissions dept.

The school you do decide to do the BS at should allow you to transfer your credits.
