She's playing and learning her boundaries. She has to know just how far she can jump and how far she can fall without hurting herself. This is also the time when she would be learning how to fight in the wild. Just give her something to focus on, scold her if she hurts you, and she'll calm down as she gets older. If she's doing something dangerous, like chewing on wires, make a loud noise when you catch her doing it. But make sure that she doesn't know its you, or she will associate the noise with you, not the action.

be happy about it....it means your kitten is a happy, healthy, normal kitten. They're all rambunctious. Train her with a water bottle not to get into things that can hurt her or make you hate her...otherwise, give her plenty of play time with you (exercise!!), and she will love you for it. And she'll grow out of it eventually. Try wearing her out just before bed time too, so she'll sleep at night instead of jumping on your head every 3.5 minutes.

She's a healthy kitten. My kitten is such a beast, I mean there are times I'm on the phone and shouting NOOO like I have a child... she gets into EVERYTHING. Try the spray bottle if she gets too crazy - my kitten doesn't even need to get sprayed anymore - she just sees the bottle and stops whatever she's doing that is too mischevious but I allow her to enjoy her play time - I just hope she calms down one day. Good luck.

Mine too!!! I have asked similar questions on here and have gotten the same responses you have here.....she's just a kitten....she will grow out of it.....I sure hope so, don't you? By the way, I have tried the water bottle training and it didn't work with my kitty. She just turned it into a game. Now she still does the naughty behavior, she just watches me while she does it and then runs when she sees me move. It has worked for other people though, so maybe you will have better luck with it than I did.

Because she's a kitten. Kittens will do that, oh yes they will. Don't worry they usually mellow with age. Until then not much you can do.

Because she is a kitten! Enjoy this stage as it will come to an end before you know it.

Cause she's a kitten...although it may get a little frustrating, I would suggest you enjoy it...for most cats it doesn't last long, and when she is always grumpy and sleepy you'll miss that troublesome kitteness.

It's her job as a kitten to do that. Climb curtains, ruin rolls of toilet paper. Just like a kid, she'll out grown it.

Try putting a little lemon juice in your water bottle. Cats hate that! Just don't aim for her eyes!
