What is my beagle mutt mixed with?

Question

He's old now, but he used to be a little darker. He's very muscular and, in fact, the vet once asked me what he was mixed with because of it. He's real mellow and, although he doesn't like to be picked up or held, he's always following me and laying right up against me. Here are some pictures:

How big is he? Looks like he has some lab in him to me.

Beagle mixed with Yellow lab.

I used to work at a Humane Society, we had to guess the mix on many dogs. I defiantly agree there is Lab in your dog and probably some Terrier too.

Looks like lab to me. He is big Beagles are not. The little black one looks like one of my dogs.

In one or two photos he looks like he could be part Labrador, in the others he looks a bit like a sighthound. Depending on his size, that could be either Greyhound or Whippet.

Yellow lab. Why not look on petfinder.com at lab/beagle mixes and see if any look like him?

And the black dog is absolutely adorable!! Do you know what that one is mixed with? I LOVE the ears!

i think lab.. i have a pure bred lab and he kind of has the same look to him as she does.. hope i helped.. :)
