Zicam works wonders for me. Helps you get over your cold something like 3X faster. I usually get bronchitis every year around the same time and when I started to feel it coming on I started using Zicam and never got sick sick. I also drink quite a bit of cranberry juice every day which helps in the vitimin department. Take a multi-vitamin every day and wash your hands. I saw a study recently that said that washing your hands was the top way to avoid getting sick so maybe it'll help you from re-infecting yourself.

A shot of whiskey with honey works for my husband (well, at least it shuts him up LOL!!)

Just keep on breast feeding the baby. Cover your cough, and wash your hands often. Sorry but antibiotics won't help with a cold. A cold is a virus. Antibiotics are for bacterial infections therefore are ineffective on the cold virus. Talk to your Dr and ask if there is anything you can take for the cold while breastfeeding. Hope that you feel better soon.....I too am battling a cold.

Tylonal Cold or Tylonal Flu will mask your symptoms wonderfully - you will still be sick but you will be able to function and get through your day better. Also try menthol crystals from your pharmasist - they are really cheap and they will clear your sinuses in minutes. You just put them in boiled water (take the pot off the stove) and inhale lightly. It's great for sinus infections too. Hope you feel better soon!

a hot toddie works every time. I'm not entirely sure of the % mix, but it's like this, drink warm tea with a shot of brandy in it, then bundle yourself up with every blanket you can find. It's miraculous, the effect. you end up sweating out the cold, feeling better after 5 hours sleep. look it up ...they exist.
