The dog will always be there for you, she might not. So, you really didn't explain why she hates the dog but if you get rid of it and if she leaves you, you will have no girlfriend and no dog.

Um why do you even have to ask this question? The girlfriends only temparary, the dog is for life. You shouldn't even have to be asking, you should already know. Anyone that would give up an animal because of a short fling is garbage. Get rid of the girlfriend

Thats a tough question to answer. Its just like who you love more your mom or your dad. See thats a really tough question. And so is this one. But seriously please keep your dog. Dump your girlfriend or make her live with it. Its your pet and seriously it will always love you. But your girlfriend might dump you. I mean most of the time love doesnt last forever. Please dont get rid of your dog. I mean she truely doesnt love you because if she loved you then she would accept the fact that you have a dog and deal with it. She oviously isnt dealing with it so she doesnt love you. But your dog does. Really. Hes your best friend and he will always be there for you. SO either dump her or make her live with it. But DONT GET RID OF YOUR DOG. trust me you will regret it if you do.

You should talk to your girlfriend and tell her how much the dog means to you. If she loves you she will understand and try to accept that you and your dog is a package deal.

Girlfriends are a dime a dozen but each dog is special. If she really loved you she wouldnt want to break your heart by getting rid of your dog. It has been my experience when someone has to change something about you to make themselves happy. They dont really love you.

If your dog was there first then keep the dog.Actually,STILL keep your dog regardless.Assure her how much the dog means to you.If she cares for you then she should be able to understand.I personally would not give up my dog for my significant other.I would say to keep your dog in a separate room while she is there, but if you want to keep both your girlfriend and your dog,she will have to learn to live it...

remember this: dogs love you when no one else does...
what does your gf hate about the dog? perhaps its something you can work on or fix. if she just hates the dog for being around, she might not like sharing your affection and she's jealous and not good for you in the long run anyways.

How new is your relationship with your girlfriend? Are you willing to give away/sell your canine companion for a relationship that you are not sure is going to last forever? When you got your dog, you made a promise to him/her that you'd take care and love them forever. If she loves you, she will respect your love for your dog and would not ask you to choose.
I hope you are all able to work things out so nobody has "to go". Good luck.

If she has a legit reason to hate him (he bites for instance) then consider it.
If she's just not an animal lover show her the doggie door! Dogs are forever, girlfriends come and go.
If you love this dog--it's a no brainer. No one could part me from my pooch.
