I recently got my hearings allmost completly paid for by the bureau of Vocational Rehab, and the Ohio Rehabilitation services, They payed for it because my hearing loss was affecting my work.

I would suggest that the first step would be to contact a local audiologist and find out if they work with any agencies like that in your area, most of them will give a free hearing test and refer you to any local agencies that will help.

I do wish you the best of luck and I hope that you find the help you need!

Also, Galluadet university has a list on their website (www.gallaudet.edu) that has a bunch of national programs that provide assitance to the hard of hearing and hearing Impaired.

There are several places you can contact that will either give you a referral or assist you in getting one.

The first one you might want to try is The At Network. They are a
organization that makes assistive technology accessible to people with disabilities. Services include: information and referral, funding for assistive technology, advocacy and training.

You also may want to try contacting NAD which is the National Association for the Deaf they can point you in the right direction.

The Department of Rehabilitation in your city or closest one will also assist and may even foot the bill for everything, so it's worth getting in contact with them. I'm in school full time and they are footing the bill for tuition, books, supplies, transportation and cost of childcare for my daughter while I'm in classes. So definitely check in with them. This is going to sound unusual as most people have a completly wrong impression of them but contact your local Masonic Lodge. Their whole point is doing good work in secret. If you think you don't know any Masons all shriners are Masons. If they can't do it they should know of another charitable that can. One nice thing about the Masons however is they help secretly.
