I am 22 and I just recently changed my major. I can't help but feel like I am going to be in college forever. Now, I've met a girl and she is almost done with her degree and I feel awful because I would love to settle down with her but I'm still in school. I do not have a high paying career yet so would it be practical to get married while I'm still in school?

I wouldn't because money would be a problem.

There is no one fixed answer to this one. It all depends. It could be wise for some people, but not others. If you feel the attachment and the deep love that you should have for a prospective wife, then go ahead. I hope the girl feel the same way for you, though. Of course, you have to talk about financial arrangements. If you current job does not cover, then she has to pitch in, right?. She must feel comfortable supporting you until you graduate and get a decent-paying job on your own. Who knows, maybe getting married will give you the motivation you need to stick to your major and work out to your graduation. Good luck.

no because it takes your focus off school and more on getting married and preparing for the wedding and all that good stuff. Wait til you finished with school and making good money and if she is your true love she will understand and still be there when u finish school.

no, it is not wise. Wait until you can afford to at least rent an apartment. If you get engaged and have long engagement, that might keep you focused on your goal and help you finish college.

If you love her and she does to, then go for it... Both of you will find a way to work things out...

If you really feel this way about her; talk to her, let her know your concerns...

Good luck!!!
