I've felt like that once. Talking to it about someone helps, even if it's a total stranger on MSN/Yahoo messenger.

If you are used to feeling low, then you know that you will feel better soon, and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. You have to work out if an outside event has made you feel this low, or is it a feeling coming from inside of you. Antidepressants are not a bad thing, (I know!), and they can help you get through a bad patch in your life. It doesn't mean to say that you will always have to take medication, and in this stressful life, there are many people, of all ages who feel really low or depressed. If you are not used to feeling low, then I would go to see your G.P., and ask for some kind of help. If you really don't want to turn to antidepressants, then speaking with a family member or a friend could help you a lot. Please don't bottle up your feelings, because it will help you much more to talk with someone. Failing that, you could always talk with a relative stranger, and call the Samaritans. I hope that this helps you.

So sorry to hear that, I have felt the same way myself. I am also apprehensive about meds, as well as concerned with the cost. I think the first thing you need to do is find someone you can talk to. You need to get to the root of what is triggering these feelings in you. I would also look into your eating habits, examine your nutrition, and maybe begin a vitamin regimen. I would also research some herbal supplements such as St. Johns Wort. I found it help full. Also I find that exercise really helps me. Good Luck to you.

the only way your going to feel better is to get on the meds... It sucks but you'll feel so much better if you do... at least maybe you'll only have to take one pill a day, try stuffing six down your throat just so you don't feel like your gonna snap out of your mind.. It will even out the chemicals in your brain and make you not feel so low....

i feel like that sometimes too. talking to someone is the best thing to do. it could be a friend, a relative, a doctor anyone. if you don't want to talk trying doing something you enjoy or some exercise. i know it sounds silly but it does actually work. but remember you'll get through it.

i used to not like the idea of anti-depressants but they really do help. you feel the way you do because the chemicals in your brain are out of balance, and the pills will help. try to get your dr to refer you for some counselling too though not just cover the symptoms.it will get better i promise.
