I am looking for a certain one and don't have a clue as to what the name of it is. I do know somethings that goes into the cookie. I also know that they are soooo good.
There are chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, small bits of white chocolate. I don't know what "kind" the cookie is that these go into, and the cookies are soft and chewy and light tan when baked. Does anybody have any clue as to what kind of cookie this is. A guy from where I use to work at brought them to work for some of us from time to time and he would never tell us what all was in them. If you know which one it is, I would sure like to get the recipe for it. Thank you.

This is the closest thing that I can think of. These were a popular treat with my brother and all his packmates.
3/4 cup unsalted butter (1-1/2 sticks), plus more for the preparing the pan
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for preparing the pan
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon fine salt
About 1/4 each cup chocolate, butterscotch and white chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
In a small sauce pan melt the butter. Put the light brown sugar in a large bowl, add the butter, and stir to combine. Cool to room temperature. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the flour mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing just until a smooth batter is formed. If using the chips, stir them into the batter.
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan. Bake until lightly browned and toothpick inserted in the center come out clean, about 20 minutes.
Cool the blondies in the pan slightly before inverting them onto a cooling rack. Cool completely. Cut into 8 squares and serve.

This is as close as I can get...
"White Chocolate Chunk Cookies" - 1 1/2 dozen
1/2 cup butter or margarine; softened
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla extract
10 oz. white chocolate; coarsely chopped
1/2 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts; lightly toasted
Cream butter and shortening; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add egg; beat well.
Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in vanilla. Stir in white chocolate and nuts. Chill dough 1 hour.
Drop dough by 2 tablespoonfuls, 3" apart, onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350* for 12-14 minutes (cookies will be soft). Cool slightly on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Sounds like a good ol' Tollhouse cookie reicpe, to which they've used part chocolate chips, part butterscotch chips, and part white choc chips (instead of all chocolate). Omit the nuts.
Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks, 1/2 pound) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts
COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
PAN COOKIE VARIATION: PREPARE dough as above. Spread into greased 15"x10" jelly-roll pan. Bake in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.

i looked at cooks.com and entered...chocolate butterschotch cookies and got a couple recipes..u might want to try it out. none had white chocolate in it, but you could always add it to the recipe and make it your own.
