There are many heavens mention in the Bible. I am only aware of 3 levels. If there are more please feel free to tell the exact numbers. My question is why many levels? And what each level for?

There are not levels of heaven but three different locations called heaven the first heaven is the physical heavenlies we see. The second heaven is spiritual the bible talks about principalities and powers rulers of this dark age they reside in the second heaven Ephesians 6 when Daniel prayed this is where his answer was stopped for a few days. Demonic spirits operate in this plane. The third heaven is where God is this is were Apostle Paul said in 2Cor 12:2 he was caught up in the third heaven. (The promise of God is not Heaven it is Eternal Life if you have the life of God then Heaven is a given)

When God created the heaven and the earth, Genesis 1: 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. He only made one heaven because He was bring the Holy City to earth so He could dwell with man but when Satan fell onto the earth He poured the universe full of water and made the earth without form and void. Genesis 1: 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. When He pushed the waters back He created more than one heaven. Genesis 1: 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. Genesis 1: 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. Genesis 1: 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. Genesis 1: 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. Genesis 1: 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. The first heaven is where the birds fly, the second heaven is out space and there is a crystal sea with a body of water and the third heaven is where the throne of God and the Holy City are located.

i can only tell you from a spiritualist point of view what i understand
i am told by many there are 7 .. although some speculate more
but this life is part of a spiritual development that we may gain entry to the next level ... and so on and so forth...
until such time we join with the God energy
this kind of incorporates a few beliefs including in a sense the Buddhist belief of release from many lives ... just worded differently

I do not know of more than one heaven. Of course there will be a new heaven and earth- as it says in the last book of Revelation- and Jesus tells us in the gospels that "he is going to prepare a place for us" --Revelations calls it "The New Jerusalem" this is where we will reside forever- those who believe in Jesus Christ.
This is the kingdom of God. So the old will pass away as the Bible says.

To answer your question is becuase each person is going to have different degrees in the ressurection, Judgement is not black and white and where some people will have gained the Highest level other will merely reject the blessing. It's is basically so that Judgement is fair

Here are a few:

There is the heaven where Mother Theresa is. (slightly boring probably)

There is the heaven where Lady Di and her lovers are. (Probably more fun)

There is the heaven for muslims that died martyrs. (A large number of virgins girls are available for their pleasures. Probably quite fun. Nothing is mentioned though for gay martyrs. They probably have a section of their own)

And of course the Pastafarian heaven, probably the best of all !

1) our atmosphere
2) outer space
3) the spiritual realm

There is also a saying "7th heaven" that is not in the Bible.
Right now our atmosphere has 6 layers, before the flood there use to be a 7th layer, a layer of water (ice) that God made when He separated the water from the water.

In life we try our best to emulate Gods love.

Gods love is perfect and our attempts are far short of the mark.

Someone who sees love as something that you reserve for those you judge worthy of it can be very uncomfortable in the presence of true unconditional love.

They would be in misery in the upper realms. These upper realms are reserved only for those who have learned the value of unconditional love, and can be comfortable in its presence.

This truth about love is what we are here to experiment with and learn to perfect. The realms or levels you speak of are matched to the level of understanding of this idea of love and ones comfort level with it.

The people who are so afraid that they reserve love only for those they have judged worthy of it populate the lower levels.

love and blessings Don
