Not an emergency or suicide type thing, just a number you can call to let it out after a bad day.

Well, I don't know a number that you can call but years ago when the internet was more BBS's there were places you could vent by typing in your vent. It seemed to work quite well. What I am wondering now is if Yahoo or someplace has a group or groups that are just for that, venting.
Maybe someone has a url of one that they can pass along to you.

Another thought is, what about journaling. You can keep your journal private on line or handwritten in a journal .

Most crisis hotline volunteers would be more than happy to just talk to someone who "needs to vent" and is not suicidal for a change. The lines are 24 hours, and they are trained listeners. I wou;dn't recommend yelling, though. (24-hour Anger Management Hotline (805) 656-4811 CA)

However, there is the possibility that you may be calling these people more often if you don't have some outlet at home. The hotlines are available, but are not suggested for regular use. I would suggest calling one now, though, if only to get some support and ideas about how to create your own outlet for venting.

That's what friends are for.
If none are available, just write it out in form of a question and dump it here on Yahoo answers. We'll read it, we've got time. :)
Sorry about your day.
