I mean, if everything needs a creator, then surely God must be sitting on his cloud wondering who created him.

You would think? But, oh no! He's magic. Forgot that part, didn't ya?

He gets a "get out of logic free" card.

God evolved by natural selection; then He created everything else. Either that or there is an infinite chain of Gods. Or the answer that believers usually give, which is that God always was, is and will be, and exists outside of the laws of nature. Still makes you wonder where He came from, however, and what he was doing for the infinity of time before he decided to create the Universe.

Oh, I'll bet you a bundle of people who will invoke the "uncaused causer". Riiiiiiight... everything else in existence MUST have a creator / designer because, "obviously", complexity denotes design... but nooo, not God, he gets to be the exception to the rule.

Why?

Because... well... it would be terribly unChristian to admit that something so complex as God would, according to the theory, require a designer. God just couldn't've been created... he's... he's... God....... and that's just the way it is.

But take their word for it, the REST of this junk definitely had to've been designed. That's just the way it is.

Kids are brilliant. They really are. They'll always ask who created the creator. They teach adults lots by doing so. And so do you.

I think it's always(except when they have guns) good to ask a beliver who created their god.

Keep on the good work

God is too depressed at his incompetence to wonder-99% of his creation went extinct before humanity even arrived on the planet which is a major embarassment for any deity.

It might be close to impossible for the human brain to grasp that something might be able to have no beginning and no end. You obviously believe that you had a beginning then, don't ya?
