I was at work, 30 mins away, but my forgot my yog. So I got the bus home to pick it up, making me nearly 1 hour late for work and a big rollocking of my boss.

I did not mind as i had my hazelnut crunch.

I would have either gone without it, or went out on my lunch break to pick some up at a nearby store.

If you go past a shop that sells it, I would stop there and buy it and try not to be late for work. The time and money spent traveling home for it and work missed isn't worth it as long as the shop supplies your fix. Plus, then you can pat yourself on the back and use that saved money in not traveling back home and missed work by buying more hazelnut crunch.

No. It's not like the new yogurt would somehow make the old yogurt invalid. If it's something small that I eat on a regular basis, it's not a waste of time or money to purchase another one. It is a waste of time to run home to save a dollar today that I will just have to spend tomorrow on the same item.
