Some folks have deviated septums and other problems that wouldn't show from the outside.
By the way, crooked teeth, a misaligned bite, etc, can cause alot of health problems in the long run. Makes you more susceptible to gingivitis, wears down the teeth and the supporting bone faster than normal aging. Every little thing affects every little thing else it seems.

i think it depends. If you have trouble breathing or have had your nose broken then it's more of a medical issue. When you have crooked teeth your bite doesn't line up properly sometimes, and can affect your breathing, eating, swallowing etc. But if you just think your nose is too big, then yes, it's a vanity issue. Just remember there are risks when going through plastic surgery, the operation could be botched, or you could get a horrible life threatening infection!

Hun, in case you are going to get surgical treatment completed, you may as nicely forget the justifications to cover it up and basically fess as much because it. On yet another notice, I had an previous baseball harm I basically have been given fixed no longer some months in the past. It became into an rather minor technique (my septum and bone have been crooked and required straightening and no different splendor adjustments) and that i had the bandage on for some week, besides the undeniable fact that, my eyes remained black for some week longer than that. i think of my technique value something approximately $3000 yet my coverage lined it because of the fact it became into the consequence of an harm and because yours seems to be slightly greater in touch in nature, you could estimate it to be lots larger (it would additionally count number on the medical expert you pick and the well-being middle you get it completed at). Oh confident, and it harm like hell and 3 months after the fact it sometimes feels basically the comparable because it did the day after surgical treatment.

Braces are neccesary so that the teeth don't look disgusting, and grow in properly, and don't rot in your mouth. Plastic surgery for the nose, rhinoplasty, when done without a real medical reason, or an injury is pure vanity. You can ruin your respiration having the nose operated on when not neccesary for improving breathing. I thought about it once and this is what the plastic surgeon advised me. I did not have the surgery, and I have grown to love my nose.
Blessings,
Rani

No, I don't think so. Some people feel very insecure because of the size or shape nose and having a nose job can make them feel much more confident. HTH : )

Heck no. There's no reason why we can't make ourselves look the best we can. I'm having Thermage to stimulate natureal collagen growth around my eyes because I don't like the lines. If my nose bothered me I'd get it fixed to my liking.
There's nothing wrong with it.

I don't think it is necessary for all that get it. People that have trouble breathing due to broken noses or something like that then i would see it as medical necessary.

sometimes if you have a problem, such as deviated septum or nasal deformity, it can be medically warranted. just as braces can enable someone to more effectively chew their food or fix general oral health.
a procedure doesn't have to be life-saving in order to have health benefits. just don't make blanket statements, there is no absolute one way or another.
