my 1st boyfriend rape me. after he rape and took my virginity i still remain ed friends with him and allowed him to do it over and over again. this went on for a yr, before i cheated on him ,and then broke up him. we are still friends after 7yrs ,he begged me 2 forgive him and he thanked me for not reporting it. now he claims to be in luv with me and wants to do any thing to make up for what he had did, but i told him i can;t be in a relationship,but i will be his friend. why am i still friends with him?

Whoa!!! you forgave him & remained friends b/c you didnt want to think or believe that he meant you any harm & in your mind & heart you convinced yourself that he loved you & wouldnt hurt you so therefore you didnt go to the law, but you didnt want to cause him any "pain", i think im right about thios, somehow you switched the blame around & questioned weither you had done something to bring this on yourself? you didnt!! you didnt!! He is wrong , he has been wrong, he doesnt deserve to have you be a part of his life & he definetly doesnt deserve a friend like you, i pray to god that you find the stength to stay away from him & move on with your life..

Really? You still talk to this person? I wouldn't. What he did was not ok. Rape is never ok!!!! Doesn't sound like rape if you allowed him to do it though. Then you gave your consent. Anyway, if you don't like him then simply stop speaking to him.

rape is not an act of sexual desire. it's an act of violence and power. and it really messes with your mind. i don't konw why you would still be friends with a guy like that. drop all ties with him. it will make you a better person. he can't possibly be in love with you. all he wants is a piece of a$$. he doesn't deserve yours if he raped you before.
